Frequently Asked Questions
Everything people usually want to know before booking. If your question isn't here, just ask — we're happy to talk it through.
🐾 General
Do you serve all of London, Ontario?
Yes — we serve London, Ontario and the immediate surrounding area. If you're just outside the city, get in touch and we'll let you know whether we can reach you.
How far in advance should I book?
For pet photography, two to three weeks is usually comfortable. For pet sitting and dog boarding, book as early as you can around holidays and long weekends, since those dates fill first. Last-minute requests are still worth asking about.
Do you look after cats as well as dogs?
Absolutely. We offer cat sitting in your home, photograph cats as happily as dogs, and bake a dedicated range of cat treats.
How do I pay?
We confirm the final price with you first, then take payment by e-transfer or cash. There's no online checkout — nothing is charged automatically.
🏡 Pet Sitting & Boarding
What happens at the free meet-and-greet?
Before any first sitting or boarding stay we meet you and your pet at no charge. We go through routines, feeding, medication, favourite walks, quirks and emergency contacts, and your pet gets to know us before you leave them with us.
What do you charge for more than one pet?
The rate covers your first pet, then each additional one is added on — $10 per extra dog and $5 per extra cat, for both sitting visits and boarding nights. So two dogs boarding is $45 a night, and a dog and a cat sitting visit is $30.
Are there any extra fees?
Two, and we'll always tell you before you book. A $5 travel fee applies if you're outside our usual radius, and a $10 holiday fee applies on statutory holidays and peak dates. Nothing else is added on.
Will I hear from you while I'm away?
Every single visit ends with a photo report card — what your pet ate, how the walk went, how they're doing, and pictures. You'll never have to wonder how they are.
Can you give medication?
Yes, for oral medication and routine treatments. Tell us exactly what's needed at the meet-and-greet and we'll follow your instructions and your vet's to the letter.
How many pets do you board at once?
Only a small number at a time, deliberately. Boarding at ours is a home, not a kennel, and keeping numbers low is how every guest gets real attention.
What if my dog is nervous or reactive?
Tell us at the meet-and-greet. We'd rather know everything up front and be honest with you about whether we're the right fit than take on a stay that won't work for your dog.
Do you do anything else around the house?
While we're there we'll bring in the mail, water the plants, take the bins out and rotate a light or two so the house looks lived-in. No extra charge.
📷 Photography
What if my pet won't sit still?
Most of them don't, and that's fine. Sessions run at your pet's pace with plenty of treats and breaks. Some of the best shots come from the moments in between poses.
Where do sessions take place?
In a relaxed indoor setup with our costumes and props, or at a favourite spot in London if your pet is happier outdoors. We'll decide together based on the theme and your pet.
When do I get the photos?
In an online gallery you can download and print from. We'll confirm the timeline when you book.
What is the Angel Bridge session?
A free tribute session for pets who are terminally ill or don't have much time left. It's everything in our Classic Session, plus a personalized keepsake and your pet's paw print. If this is where you and your companion are, please just reach out.
🧁 Treats & Cakes
Are the treats safe for pets with allergies?
Every treat lists its main ingredients, and wheat-free options are available. Our kitchen handles peanut butter, wheat, oats, eggs, dairy and fish, so tell us about any allergies on the order form and check with your vet if your pet has dietary restrictions.
How long do the treats keep?
The crunchier biscuits keep for several weeks in a dry, sealed container, and longer in the freezer. Softer bakes and cakes are best eaten within a few days. We'll tell you which is which when you collect your order.
How much notice do you need for a cake?
The more the better, but a week is usually comfortable. Get in touch even if your pet's birthday is sooner — we'll tell you honestly whether we can manage it.
Still wondering something?
Send us a message and we'll get back to you within a day — usually sooner.
