Our Story
"Nakama" is a Japanese word for the friends who become family. It's exactly how we feel about the pets we look after - as a dog walking, pet sitting and boarding business in London, Ontario.
Local, small and on purpose
Nakama began with simple pet sitting for neighbours and friends, and grew from the joy of it. It is run by Allison, who has over three years of hands-on pet sitting experience and treats every dog and cat like her own.
Today we focus on three things and do them properly: dog walks, drop-in visits at your home, and home-style boarding at ours. We're deliberately small. That means the same familiar face at every visit, only a few boarding guests at a time, and a real person on the other end of the phone. Your pet is never a number here.
We're a London, Ontario business that you book directly - no app in the middle.
